A young lawyer has landed her dream job with a leading North Wales law firm.
Alicia, 23, decided to seek a career in the legal profession after seeing first hand how domestic violence can impact a family.
Prior to being taken on by Gamlins Law, Alicia was a law student at the University of Chester and the University of Law in Chester. She also worked as a trainee debt adviser with Citizens Advice.
Alicia said: “I have wanted to go into the law since studying the subject at A-level and subsequently at university. Being taken on by Gamlins Law is a dream come true.
“I also knew that I wanted to work in Family law after seeing first hand as a child the effects domestic violence can have on a family. I realised I wanted to help people facing similar situations.
“What happened could have set me back, but I’ve used it as my driving force to pursue my goals.”
Alicia added: “Gamlins Law is so well known in North Wales and many of my family and friends have been clients over the years.
“The opportunities for development and training are excellent and my ultimate aim is to become a qualified Family solicitor.”
Ron Davison, Managing Director of Gamlins Law, said: “I am delighted that Alicia has chosen to join Gamlins Law. She was an outstanding candidate and clearly demonstrated the drive, passion and empathy required to become a successful lawyer.”
Gamlins Law has its head office at Morfa Hall in Rhyl with further offices in Mold, Ruthin, Denbigh, Abergele and Holywell.
