Mr S suffered ankle injury at work as a result of unsafe flooring, unable to reach a settlement to reflect the injury suffered Court proceedings were issued and Court found in favour of Mr S when awarding damages exceeding £5,000
Mr C suffered a degloving injury to his hand as a result of an accident at work. His employer disputed liability. Reports were obtained from a number of experts and the case issued in the local Courts. Solicitors on behalf of the employer eventually admitted primary liability. Mr C has been left with permanent reduce movement and pain in his hand.
Our client was in her 90’s when she was knocked over by a car when out on her daily walk in 2020.
She underwent hip replacement surgery following the accident. With the help of Sally Richards from our injury team, our client was awarded a significant settlement which reflected the need for further treatment and adaptation works needed to her property to provide a level access. We were delighted to help our client and she is looking forward to the work being carried out and enjoying her life.
Damages successfully recovered on behalf of a cyclist who was very sadly killed in a sperate cycling accident before his claim settled. Mr D was cycling along a country round when he was struck by a foreign driver, driving on the wrong side of the road. He suffered injury to his wrist together with cuts and bruises. The driver denied fault and Court proceedings were started. Following the death of Mr D an application was made to appoint his sister to represent his estate. Damages were successfully recovered exceeding £3,000.
Successfully recovered damages on behalf of Mr A following accident at work when he was exposed to chemicals suffering breathing difficulties and psychological injuries. Treatment was arranged on Mr A’s behalf to help him return to his pre accident role.
Mr P suffered injury to his ankle as a result of an accident at work when he slipped on a makeshift step outside of the premises he was visiting. The owners of the premises denied liability throughout. Damages exceeding £10,000 successfully recovered.
