Gamlins Law is delighted to congratulate Chelsea Rushton and Ellie Atherton, who have both qualified as solicitors.
Chelsea joins our Residential Conveyancing Team, while Ellie joins our Civil Litigation Team, where they will continue developing their careers as qualified solicitors.
Both have taken different routes to qualification. Chelsea joined Gamlins in 2023 as a paralegal in the Litigation department before progressing through her training contract. Ellie joined Gamlins during her training after her original training firm went into administration, allowing her to continue her training with the firm before qualifying into Civil Litigation.
Reflecting on the next stage of her career, Chelsea said:
“I am excited to be qualifying into the Residential Conveyancing team and officially begin the next chapter of my career. It has been a pleasure training alongside such a supportive team, and I am looking forward to continuing to learn, progress and develop my career.”
For Ellie, qualifying marks the beginning of a new chapter with Gamlins and the Civil Litigation team:
“I am pleased to be beginning the next chapter of my career as a qualified solicitor in the Civil Litigation department at Gamlins. It has been a pleasure to train alongside such a supportive team and I am looking forward to continuing my career with a firm that has such a strong presence across North Wales.”
Colleagues gathered to celebrate Chelsea and Ellie’s qualification alongside Managing Director Ron Davison, who presented them with fountain pens to mark the occasion. The presentation is part of a longstanding Gamlins Law tradition for newly qualified solicitors.
Ron commented on the importance of seeing members of the team progress through their careers at Gamlins:
“Chelsea and Ellie’s qualification is the culmination of years of commitment, determination and hard work. They are both highly valued members of Gamlins Law, and we are proud to see them take this important next step in their careers. Congratulations to them both.”
Also this week, as Shauna Bland begins her training contract with Gamlins Law, joining our Private Client team.
Shauna has been with Gamlins for over three years, having joined the firm as a paralegal in 2023. During this time, she has gained experience within the Private Client team, working across Wills, Probate, Estates and Trusts.
Now beginning the next stage of her training, Shauna is looking forward to continuing her development at Gamlins:
“I am really pleased to be beginning my Training Contract within the Private Client department at Gamlins, after being a Paralegal here for over three years now. I am looking forward to continuing my training and getting to train within other departments in the firm’s nurturing environment.”
With Chelsea and Ellie now qualified and Shauna beginning her training contract, the three milestones provide a chance to celebrate the continued development of Gamlins’ people and the different routes available to those building their legal careers with the firm.
Congratulations to Chelsea and Ellie, and best of luck to Shauna!
