[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]A recent report by the Forum of Private Business (FPB) which revealed that small UK companies spend an average of 37 hours-a-month dealing with red tape. According to the report, this amounts to a total annual cost of close to £12 billion.
The most costly aspects appear to be compliance with employment law, at £2.4 billion, and health and safety administration, at £2.1 billion.
Clearly, this is an enormous burden that must be distracting businesses from other essential areas of their work that could be enormously valuable, particularly in difficult economic times.
