Joanna Kumwenda

Joanna joined Gamlins in December 2021 as a paralegal in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department. Joanna commenced her training contract with the firm in March 2023 completed her first seat with the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department.

During her time in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department, Joanna has been able to assist with claims relating to high-value Employer and Public Liability Claims, Road Traffic Collisions, as well as complex Clinical Negligence cases. Joanna has also had the opportunity to manage the lower value claims herself whilst carrying out her seat in this Department.

Joanna commenced her second seat in the Employment and Matrimonial Department.

Joanna graduated from Leeds University in 2019 with a first as well as receiving a distinction in her LPC and Masters in Law at University of Law, Chester in 2020.

In her spare time, Joanna enjoys attending the gym, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
